Strong scholastic excellence is the hallmark of our academic programme at Lady Florence Convent School. In August, we focused on the perceptual cognitive development of every learner across all Grades. The curiosity to learn concepts was achieved through a gamification pedagogical approach adopted by our educators.

Though the month was dedicated to developing perceptual cognitive understanding, it was not done in a watertight, compartmentalized way. It was done keeping in mind the teaching of the whole concept through an interdisciplinary approach. The complex conceptualization of Regional Aspirations in Grade XII Political Science was delivered first by connecting the concept of regionalism with the holding together concept of federalism in the historical context of India’s constitutional history through role play. Likewise, in Kindergarten idea of recognition and counting was taught through gamification. By the end of the month, learners were able to grasp the concepts easily through a joyful learning experience. We are committed to achieving academic excellence without creating pressure on our learners by helping them to learn simply by progressing gradually from comprehending simple to complex concepts in a joyful way.
