1. Periodic Assessment (30 Marks):
A. The school conducts TWO periodic written tests throughout the year.
i. Schools have the autonomy to schedule these tests. However, for grading purposes, the three tests may be conducted as: One mid-term test
B. The best two test scores will be considered for final marks submission.
2. Notebook Submission :
i. Notebook submission is a key part of internal assessment.
ii. Focus is on encouraging students to maintain regularity, punctuality, neatness, and the proper upkeep of notebooks.
iii. It promotes serious note-taking and the completion of assignments for each subject.
3. Subject Enrichment Activities :
a. Subject-specific enrichment activities enhance students’ understanding and skill development.
b. These activities are assessed internally by the subject teachers.
c. For Languages (English, Hindi, French, and Sanskrit):
i. Activities are designed to improve speaking and listening skills.
d. For Mathematics:
i. Laboratory activities and projects listed in the CBSE/NCERT publication are followed.
e. For Science:
i. Practical work as prescribed by the CBSE curriculum is carried out.
f. For Social Science:
i. Map and project work as per the CBSE guidelines are implemented.
4. Mid Term & Annual Examination with specified syllabus will be of 75 Marks (50+25 Internal Assessment) for classes I to V AND 100 Marks (80+ 20 Internal Assessment) for classes VI to X
5. Scholastic Area (Total 100 Marks):
a. 80 Marks for Examination:
i. Students must secure at least 33% out of 80 marks in each subject.
b. 20 Marks for Internal Assessment:
i. Students must secure at least 33% of the overall 20 marks in each subject.
6. Classes XI and XII will have the marks distribution as per CBSE Guidelines.
