Activity Report for the Month of April – Lady Florence Convent School
At Lady Florence Convent School, April 2025 was an exciting month.This month saw students from all classes engaging in various cherished activities that promoted awareness and responsible environmental practices, while also promoting strong school-home partnership.
Word Health Day – April 7, 2025
Our school celebrated World Health Day with spirited participation from all grades, ranging from Kindergarten to Grade XII. The activities encouraged students to be more physical with regards to fitness as well as improve mental health. Talks, poster and yoga sessions as well as discussions with the phrase “My Health, My Right” were conducted which helped elevate the initiative of personally ensuring health and fitness as a lifelong venture.
April 11, 2025 – Baisakhi Celebration
TOur Pre-primary and Primary students celebrated the joyful event of Baisakhi with astounding enthusiasm. The young learners came in traditional outfits and participated in dance performances along with craft sessions related to the harvest festival. The event showcased and demonstrated the spirit of Punjab’s culture and helped teach children the value of appreciating the fruitful nature.
Earth Day– April 22, 2025
In celebration of Earth Day, an event with a rich ecological awareness theme, every student actively participated in planting trees, making arts with previously used materials, creating posters with slogans, and attending lectures on global warming and sustainable development. The motto “Restore Our Earth” was the driving force for holistic school activities, showing young patriots how even the smallest actions can make a difference.
Parent Teacher Meeting – 26 April 2025
The meeting was completed for each class from nursery up to class 12. Every parent acknowledged becoming part of something transformative, an active initiative towards change during class discussions, and as noted, engagement proved to advance school loyalty. The meeting successfully addressed the educational issues brought forwards. The active collaboration of mothers and fathers proved once again the strong common bond based upon faith in the school and trust in joint efforts towards the child’s success.
