Unity in Diversity (India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States)

The term unity in diversity relates the state of cooperation or integrity despite vast differences. It stands on the idea that differences in physical characteristics, skin tone, race, nationality, cultural and religious practices, etc., of different individuals are not seen as a source of conflicts. Instead, they are considered as diverse qualities that enhance society and the country at large.

We, At Lady Florence Convent School promote a holistic approach towards learning the cultures of other to inculcate respect building up the sense of oneness. Starting from flag hoisting to enriching cultural heritage programs, every activity performed involves a sense of patriotism and civic responsibility. The school takes initiative in making our Florians understand the significance of festivals and build a sense of Patriotism.

The Month of August presents a unique opportunity to celebrate this diversity and the heart is filled with pride for those who had sacrificed their lives for the nation. From Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan to Janamashtami, There are treasure trove of festivals, each of them has its importance and its share of happy celebrations. With all this festivity around, the month also brings new opportunities to grow. The school's mission is to help children become well-rounded individuals who are strong not only academically but also global citizens.

Unity in diversity teaches us that although we come from different backgrounds— these diversities do not divide us but instead make us stronger for the betterment of our country. The school upholds the spirit of brotherhood. We can create a brighter future for the young generation.
